Please take a moment to read the following policies pertaining to shipping and returns.  If you have any questions concerning our policies, or if we may be of assistance in any way, please feel free to contact us. 
 
 
Returns and Exchanges
 
We take great pride in our products and want you to be happy with your purchase. Should you wish to return or exchange an item for any reason, please visit our Return Center to request a return authorization.  Requests must be received within 30-days from the date your order was delivered.  Shipping charges and gift boxes are non-refundable.
 
Merchandise must be received in unused condition with their original finishing pieces.
 
In the event 24 or more paperweights are returned, we will provide an exchange or store credit only.  A 15% restocking fee will also apply.  Store credit must be redeemed within 90-days from the date of issue.
 
 
Loss and Breakage
 
PhotoWeights covers the cost of insurance to protect you in the rare event loss or breakage occurs.  If you receive a damaged paperweight, please contact us within 30-days from the date your order was delivered to request a replacement.  Please retain the box your order arrived in, as well as all packing materials, until your replacement request has been handled.
 
 
Turnaround Time
 
Most orders received by 12:00 P.M. (CST) will be shipped on the same business day.  However, we ask that you please allow up to three business days for your order to ship. 
 
Orders placed after 4:00 P.M. (CST) and during weekends will not be received until the following business day.  Our cutoff for FedEx Express (Overnight, 2-Day, and 3-Day) is 9:00 A.M. (CST).
 
Regardless of the shipping method selected, please allow additional processing time for orders consisting of 12 or more paperweights.


Shipping and Signature Confirmation
 
The shipping charges calculated during checkout are based on the total weight of your order, as well as your zip code.  We ship FedEx Ground and FedEx Express.  U.S. Priority Mail is available at checkout for most small to medium size orders.
 
It is our policy to ship all orders valued at $100.00 or more with an indirect signature requirement (signature confirmation for U.S. Priority Mail).  If you wish to waive signature confirmation, please notify us of your request in the comments field during checkout.  Customers who waive signature confirmation agree to accept non-signature delivery confirmation as verification of merchandise receipt.
 
 
Additional Shipping Charges
 
Orders consisting of 100 or more paperweights may be subject to additional shipping charges.  (This is especially the case if an order is being shipped by FedEx Express or outside the United States.)  If your order will be subject to such an increase, we will notify you in advance.
 
If a customer makes special delivery arrangements directly with the shipping carrier, such as requesting delivery to an alternate address, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees assessed by the carrier.


Wholesale Orders

Wholesale orders are subject to a minimum order of $100.00.  Wholesale orders that total less than $40.00 will be adjusted to reflect retail pricing.  If a wholesale order totals $40.00 or more, a service fee of no more than $10.00 will be added to the order.  This service fee will not exceed the difference between the order total and the $100.00 minimum. Minimum amounts reflected above do not include the cost of shipping.


Sales Tax
 
Sales Tax will not be added to your order unless your order is being shipped to an address in South Dakota.
 
 
International Orders

PhotoWeights is pleased to ship to destinations outside the United States.  Please add your items to our shopping cart and proceed to checkout to determine your shipping charges.

For orders being shipped outside the United States, any duties and taxes imposed are the responsibility of the customer and are due at the time of delivery.  These charges are not calculated during checkout and are not collected by PhotoWeights.  For more information about duties and taxes, please consult your local customs office.

Customers having orders shipped outside the United States agree to accept non-signature delivery confirmation as verification of merchandise receipt.

Our office reserves the right to refuse any international order for any reason.
 

Canceling an Order

An order may be canceled within 24-hours if it has not entered the processing stage.  Please contact us with your cancellation request as soon as possible.
 
 
Service Failures

PhotoWeights is not responsible for disruptions within the FedEx, or U.S. Postal Service networks due to adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the carrier's control.  In the event of a disruption, please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.

 
Refused and Unclaimed Packages
 
All packages returned to us marked "Return to Sender," “Refused,” “Undeliverable,” etc. will be processed in accordance with our return policy.  A refund or store credit will automatically be issued, minus the total cost for outbound and return shipping.  The customer will be notified of the partial refund or store credit by email.
