PhotoWeights come with everything you need to create a truly personal keepsake or gift. You just need to supply the items you wish to display, as well as a pair of scissors.
Each paperweight comes with a complete finishing kit that includes a mounting board and a velvet base. Both pieces are pre-cut and self-adhesive, eliminating the need to trace or glue images.
Assembly Instructions
- Clean your paperweight with glass cleaner, making sure to remove any dirt, finger smudges, or dust. Cleaning the base of the paperweight, especially the area where the bottom pad will come into contact with the glass/crystal, will ensure a tighter adhesive bond.
- Remove the protective film to expose the adhesive on the mounting board. Place the sticky side of the board onto the back of the item you wish to display in your paperweight. (Figure 1)
- Using a pair of sharp scissors, trim any material overlapping the mounting board. (Figure 2)
- Place the mounting board image-side down into the recessed area on the bottom of the paperweight. (Figure 3)
- Remove the protective film to expose the adhesive on the bottom pad. Carefully center the pad to the bottom of the paperweight and gently press into place. Press firmly along the edges to secure. (Figure 3)
Dimensional Objects: If you'll be displaying dimensional objects, apply decorative paper or fabric to your mounting board to act as a background. Attach the objects directly to the background with glue, mounting tape, etc.
