When it comes to clarity and brilliance, our glass and crystal paperweights are very similar. It's difficult to point out any visual characteristics that set the two materials apart. As far as design goes, the Crystal Dome and Crystal Round styles have a very slight recess that will only accommodate photos and artwork printed on thin paper. The Crystal Oval paperweight is smaller and lighter than its glass counterpart.

How do your paperweights differ from others?

Many of the paperweight 'blanks' available today are manufactured in Asia and often contain unsightly flaws and imperfections. PhotoWeights® are different. Our line of glass paperweights are beautifully handcrafted right here in the United States, while our crystal paperweights are imported from France.

Prior to packing each paperweight for shipping, each piece is carefully checked by hand to ensure it meets our high quality standards. Tiny air bubbles may be present in some pieces.

PhotoWeights also include a complete finishing kit that consists of a mounting board for your artwork and a bottom pad to cover the base of the paperweight. Both pieces are pre-cut and self-adhesive for fast, professional results.

I'd like to display a dimensional item in a paperweight. Will it fit?

The product page for each of our paperweight kits includes size specifications. After you've measured the thickness of the item you'd like to display, choose a paperweight with a recessed base that's deep enough to accommodate it. (The recessed base measurement is the interior ceiling height of the paperweight.)

Can I change the photograph displayed in my paperweight?

If you'd like to change the image in your glass or crystal paperweight, simply tear off the bottom pad and remove the current photo. Soak the paperweight in warm, soapy water for a minute or two to remove any remaining traces of the bottom pad and adhesive.

You will need to order a replacement finishing kit to display a new image in your paperweight. These are available through our online catalog or by clicking here.

How do I place an order?

Order Online - To purchase an item, simply add it to your shopping cart. After you're finished adding selections to your cart, click "View Cart/Checkout" from the top-right corner of our site to proceed to checkout. Once there, follow the simple steps to enter your personal information and payment details. After you've completed your purchase, you'll receive a confirmation email indicating that your order is in process.

Order By Phone - Orders may be placed over the phone by calling 800-CRAFT-19 (800-272-3819). We're available 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (CST), Monday - Friday.

What methods of payment do you accept?

PhotoWeights® gladly accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. You may also use your Paypal account. If you'd like to pay by check, simply complete your order online and choose the "Check by Mail" payment option.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Sales Tax will not be added to your order unless your order is being shipped to an address in South Dakota.

Do you sell wholesale?

We're pleased to offer a discount to businesses who purchase our paperweight kits for resale. Click here to register for a wholesale account. you can also click "Wholesale" from our left navigation menu.

Do you offer a volume discount?

The following discounts will be automatically be applied during checkout on purchases of 25 or more paperweight kits. These quantities may be reached by purchasing one or more paperweight styles. (Excludes wholesale orders.)

Can I place an order by phone?

If you'd like to order by phone, please call us toll free at 800-CRAFT-19 (800-272-3819). We're available from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (CST), Monday-Friday.

When will I receive my order?

Most orders received by 12:00 P.M. (CST) will be shipped on the same business day. However, we ask that you please allow up to three business days for your order to ship (four days for orders consisting of 20 or more paperweights.) Orders placed after 4:00 P.M. (CST) and during weekends will not be received until the following business day.

FedEx Express: Our cutoff for FedEx Express (Overnight, 2-Day, and 3-Day) is 9:00 A.M. (CST).

Once your order has shipped, the transit time will be determined by your location. To determine the transit time for FedEx Ground, please click here. For U.S. Priority Mail, you should expect delivery within 2-3 weekdays.

How can I determine shipping charges?

Shipping charges are determined by the total weight of your order and your shipping address. Your cart will automatically calculate shipping charges during checkout.

How do I track my order?

If you're a registered user of our website, you may review and track orders through the Account Administration area by clicking "My Account/Order Status" from the top-right corner of our website. If you placed your order as a guest without registering, please contact us to request your order status and/or tracking information.

Do you ship outside the United States?

PhotoWeights® is pleased to ship to destinations outside the U.S. During checkout, please indicate your country, province, and postal code to calculate international shipping. Please note that any duties and taxes imposed are the responsibility of the customer and are due at the time of delivery. These charges are not calculated during checkout and are not collected by PhotoWeights®.

How do I change my contact information or password?

If you're a registered user of our website, you may perform a variety of tasks through our Account Administration page by clicking "My Account/Order Status" from the top-right corner of our website. If you placed your order as a guest, this area of our site will be unavailable.
